More on WholesaleQuiltBatting.com!
No!
Quilt Batting is not used for
just quilts! Polyester Quilt Batting is actually used in making roofs!
Used with a special resin, it forms almost a fiberglass effect. This
is a technique that originated in Europe and is now being used in the US
today!
Other Uses:
Sleeping Bag Coats!
A unique invention by New York City fashion
designer,
Norma Kamali
.

Packaging!
As an alternative to bubble wrap,
Grand Circuit, LLC in Okolona, KY, use our 6oz polyester quilt batting to
wrap and ship their products. It is more cost effective than Bubble Wrap
and lasts longer!
Military Tents!
The
Federal Government is now using quilt batting as an insulator in their
tents made for our troops. Rather than just a layer of canvas and a
layer of fabric, they are using 3.3 oz quilt batting that is 1/2" thick to
use with their tents. This batting is made to the customer's
specifications, of course. Just like we could do for you!
Wall Coverings!
Use polyester quilt
batting as an insulator in your wall covering projects. Donna Noeges of
North Carolina, a legally blind diabetic, sees the designs in her mind.
She then transfers it to beautiful wall and ceiling coverings.
The batting is stapled to the wall with fabric to cover it. She then
uses faux painting to complete the project. A nice and less
expensive alternative to ordinary paint or wall paper.
Plant Coverings!
A more recent request
was by a horticulture company in Florida. They use 2" batting to put
around their plants to keep them nice and warm when unpredictable weather
comes along.
Day to day,
we are learning more uses for quilt batting, whether cotton or polyester.
We will continue to educate you in the use of quilt battings as time
allows.

**Recently, The
Warm Company has placed minimum order policies on their
products. The Warm Company, the makers of Warm and Natural products, charges $20.00 plus shipping on
all orders shipping from their warehouses.
Until now, we have absorbed these fees. But, we cannot keep our prices as
low as they are without your help. We have decided to open a warehouse of
our own to circumvent these fees. Not only will you receive your order
faster, but our prices will stay the same if not lower. A donation button
has been placed at the bottom of this page. Any donation you can
make to help us keep our prices low and help us keep our warehouse open
would be greatly appreciated. Of course, your donation is tax
deductible. We would send you a receipt for your income tax return.
