The scoured and super-washed wool is then carded, crosslapped, and uniformly thermal bonded. There is no resin or scrim to resist your needle. The combination of our fine high quality wool and our unique processing creates wool batting with excellent drape, wonderful consistency and strength. Dream Wool has such exceptional natural qualities and durability – your quilt can be used and treasured for generations to come.
Dream Wool is wonderfully light with slight loft and lovely soft drape. You may confidently stitch up to 8” apart or as closely as you would like. Finished quilts may be dry-cleaned or gently machine washed and dried. Dream Wool stays soft and supple. Dream Wool is excellent for both Machine and Hand quilting

Fairfield's 124" x 124" 60/40 Cotton/Poly Blend

Machine 60/40 Blend® quilt batting was designed for machine quilters, by machine quilters. The unique qualities of this 60% cotton and 40% special blend polyester make it the perfect batting for long arm, short arm and domestic machine quilting. The cotton holds fabric securely to the batting and allows the quilt to hang flat. The polyester blend allows the needle to glide through the batting, preventing “pops” on the underside of the quilt and helps to prevent creasing when the quilt is folded. A thin scrim gives this batting added strength for machine quilting. It will retain its softness even when densely quilted, making it the machine quilter’s favorite. Weight: 4 oz. / sq. yd.
